such harsh tones,

while you continuously

mumble,

stumble and roam?

where your lies

find me,

and walk beside me,

taunt me and

chide me

They tell me your

intentions,

all peachy and smug,

and show me what

reality brings,

with nothing more than

a shoulder shrug

And away you go,

nodding and crying,

and saying that there’s

nothing more you would

rather be doing

than going…
