Carry On

I’m afraid to move,

and what’s worse is I’m

more afraid to not

move in the direction that I fear,

the unbeknownst path that

calls my name night and day,

Why won’t you speak

more clearly to me?

And just as I only know

myself because I know

who I am not,

I know that if I tarry

any longer where I am,

I will fall apart,

I will become undone…
