Different Days

She walks past

the living room

and into the kitchen

in her underwear

and a small white

tee,

no concern for me –

lest the reminder that

I’m still in her bed –

and proceeds to

the sink,

plucks her toothbrush

from the cabinet,

and gets ready for

her day.

Maybe I’ve had it wrong

my whole life,

and I should have been

brushing my teeth

in the kitchen…

  1. Thank you šŸ™‚ it means she likes having me around. I’m happy when I’m with her; it’s just a whole different ballgame with each new woman in some ways…she’s very natural and that’s beautiful to me
