The Roundabout

As dying breaths dance
up their grainy, porous halls –
fluttering around,
running into tarnished posts,
and old run-down vestibules –
bid them to find another

(This is one of several beautiful Eastern forms of poetry called Waka. This particular form is named Bussokusekiko, and the syllable count is (5-7-5-7-7-7).
