Venatical Elegance

Genteel beauty flows
away from where raw poise steals
all my flawless attention –
the elegance of
her olive skin, black hair, and
such visceral purity

(This is one of several beautiful Eastern forms of poetry called Waka. This particular form is named Sedoka, and the syllable count is 5-7-7-5-7-7. I am only ever writing my life as I see it unfold before my eyes, and in the select corridors of my mind I am granted access to. This one is for Nadine).
