Despondent Inquiry

Suppose you’re on a long journey,
and with you all that you have
is a sack full of unknowns,

and an unknowably larger
reason to keep asking yourself:

“why do I keep asking why?”

Within the minds of
fools lies the same truths we seem
to have forgotten
